Orcish Italica The Naked Fairy Flower

You probably decided to read this post when you saw word "naked", lol. I knew it. But yes, this unique flower was named after its unique petal which shape more or less resemble the figure of naked men. Orcish italica.

Orcish italica is a species of mediterranean flower. It means this flower grows in mediterranean country such as Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and other mediterranean country. This flower isn't so rare, you can easily find this flower in any of these country.

Orcish italica is a member of Orchidaceae family or simply the family of orchid which includes diverse and colorful variety of orchid. In other words, Orcish italica is simply another species of orchid. As I told you before, it's not its scarcity which makes this flower interesting, its petal shape makes this flower interesting.

The Legend

Its stalk may grow up to 20-50 cm in height. Its petal form a sphere-shaped flower. Pick one petal and with a little imagination you will see a little tiny naked man wearing flower-shaped cap. There are some story by folks in the past regarding its unique shape. Some story said that this flower was some sort of fairy playground and the petals were a group of fairy. A darker version of this story was saying that this flower was an evil flower which had habit of capturing and trapping fairies who were attracted by it.
